He completed both his pediatric residency and Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Kanter currently has special interests in oxygen management, retinopathy of prematurity, neonatal abstinence syndrome and quality improvement. He is the current chair of the Pediatric Quality Improvement Council for Sinai Hospital.
