Dr. Debra J. Hendrickson, MD

Dr. Hendrickson was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Mill Valley, California. She graduated from Brown University in 1983 with Honors in Environmental Science. She then served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. After a career as an environmental planner in New England and Seattle, and after having 3 children, she returned to school to pursue a career in pediatrics. She attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine and graduated with honors in 2004. She then completed her pediatrics residency in 2007 at the University of California Davis Medical Center, where she received multiple awards and honors.
Dr. Hendrickson joined Northern Nevada Pediatrics in July, 2007. She is currently one of four pediatricians in the group. Dr. Hendrickson was board certified in pediatrics on October 16, 2007. She has published academic papers on pneumococcal conjugate vaccine and on a rare inherited liver disease that causes bleeding problems in affected children.
