Dr. Derek Sabedra

Derek “Doc” Sabedra is a Licensed Clinical Profession Counselor (LCPC) with over 23 years of experience in the mental health field. He is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults address their daily challenges and live more productive lives. Dr. Sabedra specializes in depression, anxiety, anger management, school issues, and ADHD. Dr. Sabedra completed his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. He later became the Behavioral Specialist of St. Mary’s County Public Schools working with emotionally disturbed children and teens while completing his certification as a LCPC. Each day can be a challenge for children, adolescents, and adults as they maneuver through the daily rigors and challenges of life.
