Dr. Donald Holzer, MD

Prior to his association with Bon Secours Center for Pain Management, Dr. Holzer was in private practice at The Center for Pain Management in Portsmouth, Va. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the SUNY Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY. He holds a medical degree from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of Pennsylvania in Hershey, Pa. Dr. Holzer completed an internship in internal medicine at Cornell Cooperating Hospitals in New York, where he also served residencies in internal medicine and neurology. Dr. Holzer is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American College of Physicians, the New York Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Study of Headache and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pain Management and a member of the International Association for the …Study of Pain, the American Academy Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Back Society, the American Pain Society and the American Medical Association. , he sits on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Pain Management.
