Dr. Elizabeth Faircloth Rostan, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Faircloth Rostan is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School Of Medicine. Following an internship in internal medicine at Emory University, Dr. Rostan completed specialty training in dermatology at Duke University. After her residency, Dr. Rostan pursued further specialized training in the field of laser surgery and dermatologic cosmetic surgery in La Jolla, California, where she completed a fellowship with Drs. Richard Fitzpatrick (Allure Magazine Beauty Innovator) and Mitchel Goldman.
Dr. Rostan chose to settle in Charlotte, North Carolina, and started Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center in 2001, where she and her staff have treated thousands of patients from Charlotte and the surrounding areas. She has hand-picked a team of talented individuals to work with her, offering patients the highest level of care. Dr. Rostan believes that the goal of every rejuvenation program should …be to create natural results that make you look younger, healthier, and not overdone. This is achieved by addressing each patient%u2019s unique and individual needs and concerns and custom-tailoring a plan. Dr. Rostan is very talented with her use of fillers, and her reputation for satisfying patients is impeccable, as she has become the area%u2019s cosmetic expert and doctor to see for maintaining a natural look. She is known for her skill with Liquid Facelifts and continues to shave years off of patients%u2019 ages daily.

In addition, Dr. Rostan provides a number of specialized medical services, including use of the latest vascular lasers in the treatment of rosacea, telangiectasias, sun damage, scars, hemangiomas and port-wine stains. Dr. Rostan has seen many patients walk into her office embarrassed or disheartened by their appearance and takes great pride in helping treat their conditions. She has helped so many patients battle these issues that can cause depression, anxiety, and a lack of self confidence, and her goal is renewing their confidence as they face the world.
Dr. Rostan is recognized as an expert in the field of laser surgery. She has lectured and trained physicians nationally and internationally in the field of laser surgery, and has been involved in many clinical studies of innovative laser technologies. She is the author of many scientific articles, abstracts and textbook chapters and is highly regarded by her peers. She is skilled in both ablative and non-ablative laser techniques to treat sun damage and wrinkles, and is often consulted by her peers for advice. She also provides care in the treatment of venous disorders with sclerotherapy. Additional surgical services include tumescent liposuction, laser blepharoplasty, and lipoaugmentation.
In January 2011, Dr. Rostan is excited to announce a new name, Charlotte Skin & Laser, and a convenient new location. Charlotte Skin & Laser will continue to offer the latest developments in the fields of cosmetic surgery, laser treatments, facial fillers, liposculpture and advanced skincare.
