Dr Jacobs is a native New Yorker — born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and educated in Manhattan. He attended Stuyvesant High, Queens College and Mt Sinai School of Medicine, thereby becoming the first person to become a physician via education in the New York City public educational system. He served two years in the US Air Force and then returned to New York City where he has enjoyed practicing plastic surgery ever since.
Dr Jacobs trained in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Mt Sinai Hospital in NYC and eventually became a Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery. He has devoted his practice to Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. The office at 815 Park Avenue (corner of 75th St) has a fully accredited operating suite, which has been awarded the Gold Certificate by The Joint Commission. Dr Jacobs has a complete team of anesthesiologists, nurses and technicians who have worked together with him for many years, thereby providing an experienced and compassionate team of professionals. …Together with them, Dr Jacobs is able to provide state of the art, safe, ambulatory surgery for virtually any cosmetic surgery procedure.
Dr Jacobs has been recognized by Castle Connolly as one of the “Best Doctors in New York” and by New York Magazine as a “Best Doctor”.
