Dr. Erik Jon Nuveen, MD

I was born in Philadelphia in 1967 to a dental hygienist mother and Orthodonist father, both while attending the University of Pennsylvania. I grew up in eastern Pennsylvania and wrestled in high school and college at Lafayette College, Easton, Penn. I completed my first graduate degree in dentistry at the University of Connecticut in 1994. Then completed five years of Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA and MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. I then completed medical school at the prestigious Case Western University School of Medicine prior to a second year of general surgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. I then completed fellowship in Facial and General Cosmetic Surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been in private practice in Oklahoma City since 07/ 2003.
My practice is exclusively in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. I am Assistant Professor of Surgery, Department of Surgery at OU Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center. I am also Director of …Fellowship of our accredited Fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, training the future in Cosmetic Surgery.
