Dr. Erin E. Porter

Dr. Erin Block Porter, born in Henrico and raised in Midlothian, Virginia, completed her undergraduate degree in General Science at the University of Oregon, where she was a student-athlete on the Acrobatics and Tumbling team. She returned to Virginia to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from VCU, followed by three additional years at VCU for her surgical residency in Periodontics and dental implant surgery, ultimately earning her Master of Science in Dentistry and a specialty certificate in Periodontics. After her residency, she worked in a private practice specializing in Periodontics and dental implants in the Tidewater area of Virginia. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Porter is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Virginia Dental Association. Inspired by her father, Dr. Carl Block, and grandfather, Dr. Philip Block, she is dedicated to connecting with her patients and …advocating for their oral and overall health.
