Dr. Fernando Ascencio
Dr. Fernando Ascencio was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. After completing high school, he fulfilled his academic career at the University of Pittsburgh.
At Pitt he completed a Bachelor of Science, a Doctorate in Dental Medicine, an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, a Specialty Certificate in Endodontics, and a Masters Degree in Dental Science. . Dr Ascencio continued to be involved in academics as a part-time faculty at the School of Dental Medicine upon graduating in 2002. He has practiced endodontics for the last eight years in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Dental Society.
When not at the office, Dr Ascencio and his wife enjoy the busy life that comes along with raising four boys. Sports and music play a big role in the Ascencio household.
