Dr. Soliz is The Head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Miami Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Miami Children’s Hospital, Dr. Soliz was a faculty member of the pediatric department at Vanderbilt University. He graduated with honors from medical school in Montemorelos, Mexico. His pediatric training was completed at Columbia University and his Neonatology Fellowship at the University of Miami. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics as well as in Neonatology. Dr. Soliz was an Associate Professor in biochemistry in Mexico and now lectures extensively in Neonatology locally and internationally.
