Dr. Francesca Johnson, O.D. has been a licensed and practicing Optometrist in Connecticut since 1997. Dr. Johnson practices full-scope optometric care for all Connecticut residents, including those in Clinton, Madison, Westbrook, Killingworth, and other surrounding towns in both Middlesex and New Haven Counties.

Joy Eyecare is a private optometry practice and woman-owned. Dr. Johnson built Joy Eyecare herself, with the mission to provide classic private-office customer care without the big corporate optometry chain influencing our service to our clients. In our new and spacious Clinton office, we offer comprehensive eye exams and carry a wide variety of eyewear. We also provide contact lens fittings and evaluations, treatment and management of ocular disease, and other eye care services.
