Dr. Francisco Xynos specializes in a full range of cancer surgery for gynecologic and breast cancers. He performs complex pelvic surgery and manages chemotherapy for gynecologic cancer, including intraperitoneal chemotherapy. He performs minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic cancers (endometrial, cervical, ovarian). He also treats genital tract pre-malignant disease.
Dr. Xynos utilizes the latest technology for treating patients, including robotic minimally invasive surgery, sentinel node technology, and vulvar and vaginal laser surgery.
He is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health and director of the Section of Gynecologic Oncology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Xynos is an associate member of the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center, and is a member of the American Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the American Society of Clinical Oncologists.
