Dr. Frank E. Lozano, Jr.
Dr. Frank E. Lozano, Jr. is a specialist in prosthodontic dentistry committed to the esthetic restoration of teeth and implants and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida in 2000 with a B.S. in Nutrition, he attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry. While at UFCD, his numerous hours observing in the Center for Implant Dentistry heightened his interest in prosthetic reconstructions using implants and began a passion for dental photography. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Lozano moved to Dallas, Texas where he completed his Master’s thesis and prosthodontic residency at the Baylor College of Dentistry. Receiving advanced training in both the clinical and laboratory aspects of dentistry, Dr. Lozano continues to work with local dental laboratories frequently lecturing on dental photography, efficient laboratory …communication, and providing training on treatment planning to his peers.
He is a member of The North Central Florida Regional ITI Study Club and the American, Florida, and Alachua County Dental Societies.
Dr. Lozano lives in Gainesville with his wife, Melody, and their two sons. He has a passion for photography of all sorts, and spending time outdoors. He and Melody are active members of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he and his wife volunteer.
