Dr. Corbitt was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina before moving to the Atlanta area as a teenager. While in High School in Avondale Estates, George was active on the Debate Team, played volleyball and raised fish! He was a Dean’s List student in both High School and for all four years at Georgia Tech.
In Dental School, Dr. Corbitt was a Hinman Scholar and conducted research in the area of Dental Materials. He currently lives in Suwannee with his wife Francis (a pharmacist), and three young children and cat Tootie! In his spare time George enjoys bicycling, camping in North Georgia, home repair projects, model railroad building and computers!
Dr. Corbitt is a member of the American Academy of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
