Dr. Gerald Niedzwiecki is an interventional radiologist in Clearwater, Florida. He is well known for his interventional skills. Dr. Jerry, as he is known, had a vision to open up an office of his own with not only diagnostic imaging, but a place where he could also perform interventional procedures on an outpatient basis. He wanted this setting to be a more home-like setting for his patients, rather than a doctor’s office. He designed the clinical areas to be warm and inviting. Dr. Jerry has brought this vision to life at AI3 – The Advanced Imaging & Interventional Institute. Dr. Jerry, along with Dr. Julie Claar offers MRI/MRA, CT/CTA, Ultrasound and Interventional services at AI3. He performs the following procedures at AI3 routinely:
Pain relieving procedures such as epidural steroid injections, joint injections, nerve blocks, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty.
Women’s health procedures such as uterine artery embolization and breast biopsy.
Men%u2019s health procedures like …varicocele embolization.
Dialysis graft management and dialysis catheter insertions/removals.
Venous therapies such as radiofrequency closure and sclerotherapy for varicose veins.
Oncology therapies such as radiofrequency ablation and SIR Sphere Therapy, as well as image guided biopsy.
GI/GU procedures such as gastric tube insertions, biliary drains and nephrostomy tube insertions with and without ureteral stent placement.
Angiograms on practically any/all arteries in the body with the ability to balloon angioplasty narrowings/obstructions and place stents if necessary.
