Dr. Grant Donald Gilliland, MD

Dr. Gilliland received his undergraduate in Chemistry from Baylor University, and he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His training continued at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in an Internal Medicine internship followed by an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Gilliland then completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. Dr. Gilliland is board certified in Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and director of Orbital Surgery for the Skull Based Surgery Institute at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Gilliland is a team physician for the Dallas Stars NHL hockey team and has been a team physician for the Dallas Mavericks NBA basketball team and …is one of the specialist physicians for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR).
