Dr. Louie started his dental experience as a dental laboratory technician for several years before receiving his dental degree in 1986 from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. After practicing as a general dentist for several years, Dr. Louie completed an advanced training residency in dental implants at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, before completing advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Previously he has been involved with the St. Mary’s Dental Care for the Indigent, The San Joaquin Dental Society School Dental Educational Program, help to co form the Stanislaus County Dental Society OSHA Committee, and was the Knox Keene quality control evaluator for the California Dental Health Plan dental insurance (now Pacificare).Â
