During his residency in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Utter found the most interesting and gratifying part of his training was the management of complicated pregnancies. He worked with perinatologists who became his professional role models because of their great skills and knowledge, as well as their integrity and empathy.One reason Dr. Utter enjoys coming to work is the variety that each day brings. In the maternal-fetal medicine field, he says no two days are ever the same.In his spare time, Dr. Utter likes to be outdoors and participate in activities such as bike tours and running events that benefit charities.“My ultimate goal is healthy moms and healthy babies. I work closely and cooperatively with our patients to keep them informed and address their concerns so they are as comfortable as possible as they progress through their high-risk pregnancies.”
