Dr. Gregory Whelan is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. Prior to opening Pleasant Pediatric Dentistry, Colonel Whelan served for 21 years in the US Public Health Service, assigned to the Indian Health Service.
Dr. Whelan graduated from St. Louis University and received his dental degree from Southern Illinois University – School of Dental Medicine. He completed his Pediatric dental residency, as Chief Resident, at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Dr. Whelan’s passions include ensuring the provision of the highest quality pediatric dental care to his patients and assisting with the implementations of ‘best practices’ throughout his profession.
Dr. Whelan, his wife, and three children are happy to call Peoria home. Dr. Whelan enjoys spending his free time camping and hiking with his family.
