Dr Heather Brittany Allewelt

Dr. Heather Allewelt is board certified and fellowship-trained in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatric blood and marrow transplantation. Dr. Allewelt earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Florida/Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, where she was twice awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Pediatric Medical Student Education Award. She was fellowship-trained at Duke University Medical Center, where she was named Chief Fellow of pediatric hematology/oncology. She continued with a second fellowship as part of the Duke Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Program.
