Dr. Herbert Mendelsohn is a graduate of Western Maryland College and received his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed a rotating internship at South Baltimore General Hospital and a one-year Internal Medicine Residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Mendelsohn did his Dermatology Residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and has practiced Dermatology in Central Florida for almost 30 years. Dr. Mendelsohn was named Surgeon of the Year in 1997 by the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and is a member of many prestigious medical organizations. He is a published author and speaker on skin cancer surgery, aesthetic plastic surgery, skin grafting and chemical peels.
