Philosophy of Care Dr. lan Silbert is a psychotherapist in the state of Florida who has over 33 years of experience in practise. He received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Barry University in 1993 and he is licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. Originally from SToronto, Canada, Dr. Silbert attended the University of Windsor and received his MSW in 1988; York University and received his BSW in 1987; and, the University Of Toronto completing a Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Music in 1985. Dr. Silbert brings an eclectic approach to providing counseling. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systems Theory, Mindfullness based and Solution Focused approaches to therapy to always meet the individualized needs of all his patients. Dr. Silbert looks forward to working with all populations from young children to the geriatric population to formulate an individualized treatment plan to meet each patient’s specific needs and goals.
