Meet Dr. Misra-Higgins! Indira C. Misra-Higgins, DO is the owner and sole practitioner of Beverly Hills Skin Care Institute (BHSCI). Dr. Misra-Higgins launched BHSCI in 2008 and has been in private practice as a dermatologist for over 20 years.
Dr. Misra-Higgins earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at Wayne State University. She is a Beaumont-Royal Oak staff physician and has a passion for mentoring residents in the hospital and at BHSCI. Dr. Misra-Higgins cares deeply for her patients and provides highly-individualized care with patient goals, preferences, and lifestyles in mind. She is known as an engaged, compassionate physician who seeks to collaborate with patients in the treatment of dermatological conditions and promotion of overall health.
Beyond her patients and practice, Dr. Misra-Higgins is passionate about her role as a wife to her husband Rob and a mother to her two …wonderful children, Robbie and Amylia. She is a proud “dog mom” to Mowgli and Boston, and she can hardly resist stopping to pet a dog while she’s out and about. She is an avid runner and has completed four marathons, including the Boston Marathon. In her spare time, she can be spotted in her favorite local gym.
