Ion Botnaru, MD is a fellowship-trained cardiologist with board certifications in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. He has an additional board certification as a cardiac device specialist (IBHRE) and is a registered physician in ultrasound interpretation (RPVI). Dr. Botnaru focuses on reduction of cardiovascular risk and has special training in pacemaker, coronary stent and loop recorder implantation.
Dr. Botnaru believes that in order to successfully treat his patients, he must help them achieve a full understanding of their disease and options. As a result, patients feel fully heard and confident in the care they receive.
In his spare time, Dr. Botnaru enjoys spending time with his family, reading, swimming and traveling. He is also fluent in English and Russian.
