Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:The practice of surgery is both incredibly fulfilling and challenging. Being able to focus my skill on the management of benign and malignant breast disease gives me the opportunity to develop long-term personal relationships with my patients, to support them through challenging times, and to provide high quality care to the women in our community.What I want my patients to know about me:I strive to develop a strong relationship with my patients based on trust, compassion, and collaboration. A breast cancer diagnosis is often overwhelming. I believe in a patient-centered approach to cancer care and work to provide patients with the knowledge and tools to decide the treatment course that is best for them. It is my goal to guide patients through their journey in a kind, empathetic, and knowledgable way.What I do when I’m not seeing patients:I love a great book, a good dinner, and a new city to explore.
