James D. Gearing, DDS
Dr. Gearing was raised in Modesto, CA. and completed elementary and high school there. He pursued a Biology major at Pacific Union College, in Angwin, CA. Dr. Gearing graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986, where he received the award for excellence from The Academy of Operative Dentistry. For the first year and a half following graduation, he practiced family dentistry in Jackson, CA. Beginning in 1988, Dr. Gearing has limited his practice to endodontics. Dr. Gearing has completed numerous continuing education and training courses annually in the pursuit of excellence in his field. He first practiced as a partner in a group practice based in Modesto, CA, and then as a solo practioner in Sonora since January 2001. Dr. Gearing established his practice in Sonora in 1990 as a satellite office, but now is proud to devote his attention full time to the foothill area. Dr. Gearing is …committed to excellence in using the latest technology available in the field of endodontics, and to provide the utmost in patient care and compassion. Dr. Gearing is pleased to be able to serve his hometown with his practice of General Dentistry Limited to Endodontics.
Dr. Gearing and his wife, Nicole, live in Sonora, and are raising three boys. Doctor enjoys his family as his first love, and spends time with them at church functions, and pursuing many of the outdoor recreation opportunities available in our area.
