Dr. James White Brodsky, MD

Dr. James Brodsky, a native of Houston, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University Medical School. He completed his orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine Hospitals in Houston, followed by a one-year Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Los Angeles, California, at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center, and The Orthopaedic Hospital, at the University of Southern California. Dr. Brodsky is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, having been board-certified and re-certified in orthopedic surgery. He is Past President of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Brodsky is a Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSWMC)in Dallas and Texas A&M Health Science College of Medicine. He is the Director of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship training program at Baylor University Medical Center and UTSWMC. He has trained orthopedic foot and ankle specialists from across the United States and …around the world. In addition to patient care and teaching duties, he maintains a busy schedule of clinical and basic research. He is a frequent speaker at national and international Orthopedic CME courses and conferences. He publishes articles in renowned orthopedic journals and is a contributing author of many textbooks on foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Brodsky has been honored with a lifetime achievement award as a Pillar of the Society from the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. Dr Brodsky has been recognized as a leader in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery with contributions to clinical teaching, research, and surgery.D Magazine has named Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic Associates of Dallas the Face of Orthopedics for 2024.
