About Dr. Martinez
Dr. Martinez is an Orlando area dentist who began his dental studies in Leon, Nicaragua, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1996 from the University of Leon, graduating in the top of his class. He moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend the Prosthodontic Residency Program at the University of Minnesota, one of the top dental schools in the nation. This three-year program culminated in a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in the Specialty of Prosthodontics. During those three years, he held a position of pre-clinic and assistant clinic instructor for Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.
He later moved to South Florida and held …the position of assistant clinical professor in the restorative department and postgraduate training program at Nova Southeastern University in addition to working in private practice.
In 2001, he moved to Central Florida where he also served as an adjunct clinical professor at Florida State University. Dr. Martinez began his private practice in the Orlando Florida area in 2004. He currently continues to attend hours of continuing education and training in order to stay abreast of the latest techniques and technology in dentistry, prosthodontics and the study of complex rehabilitation. Dentistry can be very complicated especially when it comes to Prosthodontics.
Dr. Martinez was chosen by his peers as one of the year’s“Top Dentists” as reported in the Orlando Magazine. Surveys were sent to dentists in the Orlando area asking which of their colleagues they would entrust with their loved one’s dental care. Dr. Martinez stated,“Being recognized by fellow dentists and specialists is an honor that is particularly gratifying. There is nothing more rewarding than exceeding our patients’ expectations when giving them the smile and comfort they always wanted.”
Dr. Martinez has lived in Florida almost all his life. He lives with his lovely wife and their three beautiful children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and photography.
