Dr. Jeffrey J. Pearlman

Dr. Jeffrey Pearlman has been involved in dentistry most of his life. As a teenager and while in college, he assisted his uncle, Dr. Fred Ehrlich, in his pediatric dental practice in Baltimore. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland in 1969 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1973 from Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Pearlman completed his specialty training in Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, N.Y., in 1975. He also received advanced training in the treatment of patients with mental and developmental disorders. Dr. Pearlman was also a Clinical Instructor for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University.
Dr. Pearlman opened his practice in 1975, and has enjoyed taking care of the pediatric dental needs of the tristate area, His practice focuses on the basic dental needs of children as well as crainiofacial growth and development and orthodontics. He has received many awards and honors through …the years including Certificate of Merit, awarded by the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and Dentist of the Year, given by the State of Maryland, Governors Committee on Employment of the Handicapped.
Dr. Pearlman has attended and lectured at many continuing education courses through the years. His particular areas of interest are crainiofacial development, orthodontics, and use of fluorides.
