Dr. Jeffrey Schantz
Dr. Schantz has been providing orthodontic care to the Palm Desert community since 1985. He earned a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of California in Irvine and went on to earn his dental degree from UCLA. Dr. Schantz completed his General Practice residency with the U.S. Public Health Service and received his Masters of Dental Science from the University of Connecticut. He also completed his Orthodontics residency at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Schantz has had articles published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Dental Research Abstracts. He has also lectured at the American and International Association of Dental Research Meeting and at the Southern California Damon Study Club. He is an active member in the American Association of Orthodontists, International Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Association and the Damon Study Club of …Southern California. In addition, he is an Invisalign Elite Provider.
He and his wife, Mimi, have two children, Nick and Tammy. Dr. Schantz enjoys golf, sailing, snowboarding, scuba diving, backpacking and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
