Jennifer Gillette is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about helping those in physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental distress. She has worked in oncology for over 25 years and works with top-rated health professionals to keep up to date on the latest research. She has extensive experience with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, stress management, PTSD, bipolar disorders, and coping with life transitions. Jennifer assists couples in healing their marriages and families. She also has a Women’s Christian Counseling certificate and is open to helping people use their individual spirituality as a way to cope. Jennifer completed both her BSW and Master of Social Work (MSW) at Wayne State University. In her personal experience, she has been a caregiver to several people in her family with their health issues. Although she takes an individualized approach, she often uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and a structured support …approach. Everybody is doing their best in life to not only survive but thrive. Sometimes we need people supporting and encouraging us in a different way for some of the seasons we experience. Jennifer works beside you to help you cope with struggles and challenges. However, she also helps you to find what joy, peace, and the best versions of “you” look like.
