As a pediatric hematologist/oncologist, I am privileged to care for children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. My expertise and clinical focus are on children with blood cancers such as acute and chronic leukemia. I also care for children whose leukemia may be resistant to conventional chemotherapy and help determine whether these cancers can be more effectively treated using targeted agents tailored to the genomic variants that may exist in each child’s cancer.
