Dr Joanna Perkins attended medical school, pediatric residency and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where she also completed her masters of Science in Clinical research. She joined the hematology/oncology program at Childrens Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota in 2003. Her areas of interest include leukemia and lymphoma management and the late effects of childhood cancer therapy. Dr Perkins is also the medical director of Childrens Outreach Department. She is married and has two sons.
