Dr. Joel Khoo, DDS

Dr. Joel Khoo received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore. He then went on to earn his Master of Science in Prosthodontics from the University of Iowa. Dr. Khoo chose the field of dentistry because it is a branch of medicine that combines surgery, artistry and patient care that he finds both challenging and fulfilling. His additional prosthodontics specialty training equipped him with the knowledge and skills to confidently restore beautiful smiles to patients who have debilitating dental health. “I love the challenge of allaying my patients’ dental fears and find it most rewarding when I see their fears replaced with a calm confidence. I get great joy and a sense of honor when patients trust me with their oral health needs and it motivates me to give my best. As a prosthodontist, giving patients back their smiles that they never dreamed possible makes all the work and effort worthwhile. I hope to bring a sense of excitement and …enthusiasm about dentistry and oral health to our patients and to our community when they get to know us and experience our service.” Dr. Khoo lives in Corpus Christi with his wife and two children. He loves to spend time with his family doing things together. He also enjoys gardening, cycling, and being outdoors.
