My name is Dr. John Francis. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I’m a Board-certified Periodontist who received my undergraduate degree from Notre Dame and my Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University in 1968. I did my periodontal residency at University of IL in Chicago, IL.  I am a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and belong to a number of organizations:

Illinois Dental Society
Chicago Dental Society
American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
And I belong to several Academies:
American Academy of Laser Dentistry

I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of periodontal practice with special interests in Cosmetic Periodontics, Regeneration of Bone to saving teeth, and full range of Dental Implant procedures. Â To keep abreast of the latest developments in Periodontics, I have …always exceeded the continuing education requirements of the state of Illinois. I taught for 25 years at Loyola University, School of Dentistry.
My hobbies include tennis, pilot and boating. I’ve been married for 20 years to my wife, Susan. We have 4 children: Jenilyn, Debbie, Ryan and Melissa.
