John S. Parker, M.D., has been practicing medicine for nearly 25 years, and in that time has become a nationally recognized ophthalmologist, introducing new, cutting-edge procedures to patients across the world.
Dr. Parker established Parker Cornea in 1997, within the UAB Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital. Parker Cornea performs procedures and treatments that provide patients with the best possible vision as quickly and comfortably as possible.
Parker Cornea specializes in the treatment of keratoconus, Fuchs’ dystrophy, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal scars and opacities, corneal stem-cell deficiency, failed corneal transplants, intraocular lens complications, corneal and conjunctival infection and inflammation, benign and malignant corneal and conjunctival tumors, ocular burns and hereditary corneal dystrophies.
