Dr. John Sun, MD

John Sun, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colorectal surgeon. Dr. Sun is driven to support his patients in restoring their whole health, as well as help them remain healthy and active long-term. His areas of focus include treating acute illness, acute injury, sprains/strains, concussions and primary care medical conditions. He also performs routine health and wellness check-ups.
Dr. Sun earned his medical degree at University of Health Sciences Center in Denver. He completed his general surgery residency at University of Colorado, and his fellowship was in colon and rectal surgery at University of Minnesota.
Dr. Sun’s faith in God and commitment to his family make him who he is and what he does. He considers himself to be a man of discipline who soldiers on no matter what circumstances he faces. He is fluent in both English and Korean.
