Dr. Jonathan H. Woodyard

Dr. Jonathan Woodyard is a native of Smithland, Kentucky and a 2001 graduate of Livingston Central High School.  He attended Murray State Univ. pursuing a degree in Biology.  He was accepted into the University of Louisville College of Dentistry early in 2004 and graduated with honors in May 2008.  He then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Louisville Hospital, graduating in 2009. Specializing in advanced cosmetic and restorative cases and treatment of the medically compromised, this advanced training laid a foundation for learning that Dr. Woodyard continues today.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the Purchase Area Dental Society, along with being an active participating member of the Select Study Club an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club Society.  Dr. Woodyard actively seeks training in modern and unique ways to address the needs of his patients while offering a wide array of treatments to his patients.  …In 2004 Dr. Woodyard married his high school sweetheart, Monica, a month before entering Dental School.  She taught 8th grade American History for 4 years in New Albany, Indiana.  In 2008 they were blessed with their daughter Presley Grace who was born on May 14.  Having both been raised in the Western KY area they were excited about the opportunity of moving back to the Paducah area to be closer to friends and family. Woodyard Dental Care opened in August 2009 and has grown quickly. Dr. Woodyard enjoys his job immensely and is excited about what the future holds.
