Going to the dentist can be a personal and sometimes difficult experience. A dentist that you trust and feel comfortable with can make a world of difference and I would like to begin creating that trust by introducing myself to you. My name is Jon Lewis and I grew up in Taylorsville. After high school, I attended Snow College and then spent two fantastic years in the jungles of Guatemala. Upon returning, I fulfilled one of my lifelong dreams and attended the University of Utah on a baseball scholarship where I received my BA in behavioral science. During this time I married my wife, Kelly, and we now are the proud parents of three children, Caden, McKenna and Harrison. I enjoy nearly all sports and like to spend my free time on the golf course, on the lake fishing or just spending time with my family.
After graduating from the University of Utah, I attended dental school in Columbus, Ohio. During my training at The Ohio State College of Dentistry, I acquired …the skills necessary to become a good technical dentist; but I also took the time to ask my patients what they liked and disliked about dental appointments. I wanted to understand their perspective and I used their input to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I feel that good dental care begins with treating patients with respect and kindness, and also in helping patients feel comfortable in expressing their needs and wants.
My goal as your dentist is to understand you and to satisfy your needs and wants to the best of my ability. I am dedicated to making every appointment as comfortable as possible and feel certain that my staff and I can achieve our goal of quality service in a comfortable environment. We look forward to getting to know you and your family and we are excited to be of service.
