As a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist, I feel it is important to develop a customized care plan to optimize the chances for a favorable outcome for the mother and infant. I enjoy treating patients with pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension and also enjoy helping patients who have had problems with prior pregnancies. We are involved in all aspects of patient care and have the advantage of working at a Regional Perinatal Center with access to highly skilled multidisciplinary specialists. My areas of clinical interest and research include preterm birth, risks of prematurity, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, fetal abnormalities, genetic disorders, and prenatal diagnosis.
