Dr. Chambers earned his BS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his medical degree from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Chambers completed his residency in Adult Internal Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and an Adult Cardiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute. His professional activities since 1995 include more than eight years of Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular services throughout the State of Kansas, with academic appointments at the University of Kansas Department of Medicine, University of Kansas School of Medicine, and Wichita State University.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Chambers co-hosted a weekly radio and television program on cardiovascular health. Dr. Chambers joined Southwest Heart in 2005 and Carondelet Specialist Group in 2011. His work includes consultative, invasive and interventional cardiology services; as well as diagnostic and interventional peripheral …vascular services. He is board Certified in Adult Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
