Dr. Colasanto completed his internal medicine internship and residency in therapeutic radiology/radiation oncology at Yale University/ Yale-New Haven Hospital where he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Colasanto also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Yale University School of Medicine/Yale-New Haven Hospital from 2004 through 2007, and Assistant Medical Examiner for the State of Connecticut since 2002. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Radium Society and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
Prior to joining Saint Francis, Dr. Colasanto served as the section chief for a number of committees at Yale University School of Medicine, including the Endocrine Cancer Committee and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System Committee.
