Dr. LeBlanc earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, while he completed his internship and residency at the Tulane College of Medicine. Among Dr. LeBlanc’s research is a study regarding a cost-effective analysis of a neighborhood clinics effectiveness at reducing asthmatics utilization of the Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center emergency room in 1998. Dr. LeBlanc had been Regional Section Head of Pediatrics at Ochsner since summer of 2004 through 1/31/2011. Dr. LeBlanc continues to be involved in many community organizations and helped establish the current concussion program for St. Tammany school system.
