     I graduated from Centerville High School in 1992. My parents, Joe and Sue, were both career educators with the Centerville Independent School District.
    I attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1997 and soon thereafter married my wife, Amy Knott. Amy is the daughter of Donnie and Janice Knott and is a 1994 graduate of Palestine High School. Amy is currently teaching in the Elkhart ISD.
    In 1999 I entered Baylor College …of Dentistry and in 2001 I received my commission into the United States Air Force. After graduating dental school I joined the Prosthodontic residency at Wilford hall Medical Center located on Lackland AFB, Texas. In 2006, I graduated the Prosthodontic residency and earned a Masters Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. I also became Board Certified that same year by the American Board of Prosthodontists.
    I was transferred from Lackland AFB to Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado where I spent the next three years working in my specialty. Â
    Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association, it is the branch of dentistry dealing with the replacement of missing teeth and related mouth or jaw structures by bridges, dentures or other artificial devices. I attend continuing education classes and am a member of the American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, and the International Team of Implantology, and the American College of Prosthodontics.
