I grew up in South El Monte. I attended Stanford University for my undergraduate studies, where I majored in human biology with an area of concentration in health care policy. After that, I went to UCLA Drew for medical school. Then, I did my pediatric residency training at Harbor-UCLA. I developed a special interest in pediatric rheumatology and decided to continue training after residency. I completed my pediatric rheumatology training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. As for my personal life, I’m married and have two wonderful sons who keep my husband and me very busy! We enjoy taking them to art class and to play soccer at the park. They love to play soccer!
