Dr. June-Ku Brian Kang, MD

Board certified in pediatric pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. Dr. Kang is board certified in pediatric pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. Dr. Kang graduated from New York Medical College. He completed his pediatric residency at the Mayo Clinic and his pediatric pulmonary fellowship at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During his pulmonary fellowship, Dr. Kangs research was focused on the developing airways and he was also a research associate in the Childhood Asthma Research and Education (CARE) Network at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center. Dr. Kang completed his sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine and stayed on as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for two years prior to coming to Austin. In Utah, Dr. Kang was also the Medical Director of Outpatient Respiratory Therapy at Primary Childrens Medical Center. Dr. Kang is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. …He is married and has three children.
