Dr. Horace was born and raised in the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. At age 14, Karen moved to New Jersey. She was an Honor Student in High School, Dean’s List student in College, and Editor-in-chief of the Howard University yearbook!
Following Dental School, Dr. Horace completed a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York where she decided to perfect her surgical skills and specialize in Periodontics. Karen currently lives in Decatur, and in her spare time is an avid reader, enjoys bowling and calligraphy!
Dr. Horace enjoys involving her patients in their periodontal care, and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.
