Dr. Kellyn Hodges, ranked by her colleagues and one of Philadelphia’s top Board Certified Orthodontists, is committed to providing the very finest orthodontic care in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. She practices state-of-the-art orthodontics and strives to give personalized service to each of her patients. With a subspecialty in Enhancing Facial Beauty, Dr. Hodges creates beautiful smiles while improving the overall beauty of the face. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Hodges is also a local expert and orthodontic consultant to several self-funded insurance organizations. She provides them with expert opinion and advice on their most complex orthodontic cases. Dr. Hodges has additional years of training and experience as a dental expert that have prepared her to skillfully recognize and treat orthodontic problems.
Dr. Hodges earned her B.S. degree at Howard University in 1988 and received her dental degree from Temple University in 1992, graduating summa cum …laude. During her dental training she was elected to membership in Omicron Kappa Epsilon, an honor society based on scholarship and achievement. She then earned her orthodontic certificate and master’s degree from Temple University in 1994, again graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Hodges still enjoys continuing her education by studying the latest techniques available in orthodontics each year. She is a member of several dental organizations that ensure she continues to meet the standards of training, education, and experience for her specialty. Dr. Hodges is a Board Certified Diplomat, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and The New Era Dental Society. Dr. Hodges is also committed to civic work through The New Covenant Church of Philadelphia, the Links, Inc., and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Hodges is married and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys her family, community service projects, tennis, and singing lyric soprano.
