Dr. Kenneth Melby, MD

Dr. Melby received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and then completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. He remained there to complete his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine.
Prior to joining the Saint Joseph’s Medical Group, he was in private practice on the Saint Joseph’s Hospital campus since 1984. He has served as the Medical Director for Critical Care at Saint Joseph’s. He also is trained in interventional pulmonology, and provides consultation in pulmonary disease.
Currently he is practicing pulmonary consultative medicine with Southeastern Lung Care in Decatur, Georgia.
Dr. Melby is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Physicans.
