Dr. Kenneth R. Eye, DDS

Colonel (Ret.) Dr. Kenneth R. Eye, the senior partner of Exceptional Smiles Family Dentistry brings his experience and expertise to provide exceptional dental care. Dr. Eye has practiced for the 33 years. The past 11 years Dr. Eye has been in his own private practice in Woodstock, Virginia.
Dr. Kenneth R. Eye graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry and joined the United States Air Force after graduation. Here he received a wealth of dental knowledge in his professional career as a dentist. While in the U.S. Air Force, he completed a one year Advanced Clinical Dental Residency Program and graduated as top resident in the class. His Air Force career provided the opportunity for worldwide travel through an overseas assignment in Turkey during the first Gulf War. His family accompanied him during this two year period.
Dr. Eye has held many positions of leadership during his military career, such as Dental Clinic Commander at three locations, Medical Operations …Squadron Commander and Deputy Hospital Commander. Dr. Eye was awarded numerous awards and commendations throughout his career in the military. He retired in August 2001 from Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina. He achieved the rank of Colonel after proudly dedicating the service of 23 years to our great country.
Dr. Eye is a resident of the Shenandoah Valley and traces the Eye Family ancestery to 1774 near Franklin, West Virginia. He resides in Rockingham County, with his wife, Judy. Their two sons, Dr. Kenneth “Rob” and Brian reside in the Harrisonburg area. Dr. Eye enjoys traveling, gardening, hunting and fishing.
